Mineral water is an elixir of health!
Our homeland is rich in minerals, one of which is mineral water. Mineral water has an important balneological value and is widely used in spa treatment. Our sanatorium has its own fresh mineral water going down to a depth of more than 3000 meters.
Mineral water, with all the other advantages of the sanatorium, remains the main and most powerful factor in recovery. Doctors regulate water intake depending on the person's diagnosis.
Drinking treatment is most effective in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. Chronic gastritis, hepatitis, pancreatitis, gastroduodenitis, peptic ulcers, enteritis, colitis, cholecystitis, obesity, diabetes mellitus, hypothyroidism, gout, as well as diseases of the genitourinary organs - pyelonephritis, cystitis, prostatitis are treated with mineral water.
In addition, this miraculous water is used externally. Various balneological procedures are used in the sanatorium - mineral baths, gynecological, intestinal and gingival irrigations.
The cost of the procedure:
- Free for residents of the sanatorium

Mineral water
Medical conclusion for mineral water of well No. 1980 of the Sanatorium “Almaty” section of the Almaty groundwater field of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The mineral hyperthermal water of the well of the site of the joint-stock company of the sanatorium of Almaty is a characteristic representative of medical-table low-mineralized alkaline calcium-sodium chloride waters containing therapeutic and prophylactic concentrations of natural iodine and silicic acid.
Specific features are:
- The presence of a prophylactic dose of natural iodine - 0.60 - 0.75 mg / dm3
- Increased presence of fluoride - ions in a concentration - 6.0 6.5 mg / dm3 at the maximum permissible concentration for medical - table waters -10 mg / dm3
- The increased presence of methacilicic acid at a concentration of 32-40 mg / dm3
Mineral water is a non-drug means of treating and preventing a number of diseases, including the digestive organs, the musculoskeletal system and are recommended:
- For therapeutic drinking;
- For balneotherapy;
The therapeutic effect of our water for internal use is mainly due to the specific calcium chloride-sodium composition and a significant degree of mineralization. Getting into the gastrointestinal tract, sodium chloride waters contribute to the secretion of gastric juice and improve intestinal motility.
Chlorine ions - helps to improve the process of digestion and assimilation of fats, proteins and carbohydrates.
Sodium ions play an important role in water-salt metabolism, maintain the necessary pressure in the tissue and interstitial body fluids.
Potassium - an ion - is able to influence enzymatic systems, strengthen the activity of smooth muscles, and participate in protein metabolism.
Calcium - ion - is able to enhance the contractile force of the heart muscle, increase the respiratory rate, increase immunity. It has anti-inflammatory effects, affects bone growth.
Iodine is an important trace element that activates the function of the thyroid gland, associated with the synthesis and exchange of thyroid hormones. Iodine has a bactericidal effect.
Fluorine - lack of fluoride in the body leads to the destruction of bones, in particular teeth. Fluoride helps prevent caries.
Bromine - stimulates inhibitory processes in the cerebral cortex and restores the balance between the processes of excitation and inhibition in the central nervous system. It has a sedative effect.
Manganese - has an effect on redox processes, participates in metabolic processes, activates the activity of enzymes and is an essential element for the natural development of the skeleton. It is necessary to maintain the tone of the cardiovascular system, strengthens the memory and nervous system, activates the protective functions of the body.
Silicon (methacrystic) acid contained in water provides a pronounced anti-toxic, anti-inflammatory and sedative effect.
Drinking treatment is most effective for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract:
1. in chronic gastritis, gastroduodenitis, peptic ulcer, enteritis, colitis, enterocolitis, chronic hepatitis, cholecystitis, chronic pancreatitis, in diseases of the operated stomach, in post-cholecystectomy syndrome, condition after surgical interventions on the liver and biliary tract (after 3-4 months per month, after 4-4 months per month, after 4-4 months per month. ; with functional diseases of the intestine with a violation of its motor and evacuation function. Diseases must be inactive form (remission stage).
2. In diseases of the genitourinary system (pyelonephritis, cystitis, prostatitis)
3. With metabolic diseases and endocrine organs (obesity, mild diabetes mellitus, hypothyroidism, mild forms, accompanied by thyroid obesity, dystrophic changes in the joints and spine, gout).
Rules of drinking mineral water
Drinking mineral water is effective in combination with therapeutic nutrition. It is advisable to treat with mineral water along with other measures for recovery (physiotherapeutic procedures, therapeutic physical training). In this case, the effect of treatment will be much higher.
Treatment with mineral waters directly at the resort is more effective than at home. This is explained by the simultaneous action on the patient of the full range of spa treatment: treatment, absence of irritating and stressful factors, change of environment and climate (the so-called geographical stress), physical activity, additional medical procedures, positive emotional background and more.
General rules of treatment with mineral waters
In almost all diseases, mineral water should be drunk slowly, in small sips. This method of drinking is particularly indicated for patients with reduced secretion of the stomach, when prolonged exposure to the gastric mucosa and the receptors incorporated in it is necessary in order to stimulate its secretory function.
Fast drinking is indicated by drinking water that has a laxative effect. The action of mineral water in these cases should develop in the intestine.
In case of gastric ulcer and increased acidity of gastric juice, water should be drunk in large gulps, with a volley to avoid prolonged irritation of the gastric mucosa and facilitate the rapid transfer of mineral water from the stomach to the intestine, from where it should inhibit the secretion of gastric juice.
Mineral water treatment is incompatible with alcohol intake.
What is a single and daily dose of mineral water for this patient.
The attending physician must, depending on the characteristics of the mineral water, the nature of the disease, its severity, the patient's condition, decide on the size of the single and daily dose, on the number of doses per day. The size of a single dose can vary from 1 tbsp. l up to 1-2 glasses.
The daily dose of mineral water is usually 600–900 ml, and in case of urinary tract diseases, when a six-fold intake of water is prescribed, up to 1200–1500 ml.
Mineral waters are low mineralized, more often they are prescribed 200–250 ml or 400–500 ml per dose, they should be drunk in two doses with an interval of 15–30 minutes between doses.
In case of cardiovascular diseases with unstable compensation, with atony of the stomach, violation of its evacuation ability, drinking treatment is started with 1/4, 1/3 or 1/2 cup and only as far as getting used to water, they switch to the full dose.
