- Nursultan Zhumabekovich, what do you mean? Earlier, we heard that only Akims and employees of ministries and deputies can rest in a sanatorium.
- It used to be like that. Now the Almaty Resort is a subordinate organization of the Medical Center of the President's Office. In other words, a shift to serve the people has begun. So, for example, are you registered at the polyclinic in the area where you live? You go to your doctor. To get cured of an illness that constantly bothers you, you register on the portal on the advice of that doctor. Your turn will come quickly. With a voucher, you come to us, you are assigned a procedure, you rest for 8-10 days and come back.
- I can hardly believe it. Is everything free?
- Of course it is. There should be an obligatory medical insurance. In my permanent job, we deduct money from my salary for medical insurance, and the same is spent. So, at least a thousand people come to us every year to undergo therapeutic and recreational procedures.
- And how are things in the rooms? I mean the facilities side...
-You do not have to worry about small things like towels, soap, shampoo, slippers and toothpaste. Everything is provided. This is the case not only with suites and VIP suites, but also with standard rooms. The health resort is a walking path. You have a rest walking between a forest and a grove. The birds are singing and the air is clean. Because the trees were planted in the 1970s, which absorb carbon and release a lot of oxygen. Admire the beautiful view of the Alatau. 21 hectares is a quiet place. You relax and get away from the noise of the city.
- You mentioned a new standard room, a suite, please tell me more about it.
- I started in 2014 as a simple receptionist. So I know about all the amenities of the sanatorium. There are 135 rooms. The area of a standard room is 30 sq / m. There are 109 of them. And of the suite 18, of the VIP 8. If you prefer to live in a standard room, the cost is 34 thousand tenge. It includes 4 meals a day, swimming pool, salt mine, physio and many services, including medical procedures. And with these finances, let's say you went abroad, just resting. And there is no recovery, no treatment with modern medical equipment there. That is our advantage. We arrange karaoke, concerts.
