The incidence of pneumonia is rising in Kazakhstan, with nearly 50,000 cases recorded since the beginning of the year, according to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Doctors warn that without proper rehabilitation after pneumonia, serious complications may develop. Zhanibek Zeinelgabdy, a therapist at the "Lok Okzhetpes" JSC in Almaty, strongly recommends sanatorium treatment to restore respiratory health.
"Many patients continue to experience shortness of breath, coughing, and weakness for an extended period, significantly affecting their quality of life. We have medical and economic standards for rehabilitation after pneumonia and COVID-19. After a thorough examination, we conduct diagnostic tests in laboratory conditions, taking into account factors such as age, gender, and chronic diseases. Each patient receives an individualized treatment plan. Our sanatorium offers unique therapies, including inhalations, a salt room, oxygen cocktails, breathing exercises, therapeutic physical training, and physiotherapy. We observe positive results within the first few days.
To prevent recurrent pneumonia, it is highly recommended to maintain hand hygiene, wear masks in public places, and follow all the guidelines provided by doctors and the Ministry of Health."
